Celebcity with Jo Brooks: Model ball

The Wanted hit the town, Katie Price shows no sign of stopping & Brighton stylists on This Morning

Mark Woolley of Brighton’s Electric Hairdressing and his ‘Electric Art Team’ were official hair stylists backstage at The Rock Ball this year, an event which marries ‘rock royalty and high fashion’ in aid of the RPJ Crohn’s Foundation. They got their hands upon all sorts of celebrity pates including the lovely Sophie Anderton, swimwear designer Melissa Odabash and model Olivia Inge. The Electric Art Team also styled the models for Melissa Odabash’s spring/summer 2012 swimwear collection fashion show, a definite highlight of the night.

Jordan’s new clothes
Katie Price made a typically racy appearance in Hove recently – launching a new range of swimwear and lingerie at Store Twenty One in Chapel Road. What with recently gaining certification to become a nail technician and plans to record a new album we don’t know how Katie has the energy to continue, yet continue she does.

The wanted-mania
Last Monday tons of fans turned up at the Brighton centre to catch the second appearance in the city of beautiful boyband The Wanted. As expected the lads raised the roof and had everyone dancing all night to their (ashamedly) catchy pop tunes.

‘Starlets’ on TV
Our Lisa and The Lanes Health and Beauty’s Julie Coates, were London bound last week – storming the ITV This Morning set for some top secret beauty work. It seems that Julie’s beauty expertise precedes her, with the crew asking for tips and hints on all the latest pamper news. The girls even managed to pop into Gino D’Acampo’s kitchen to see what he was rustling up. We wonder whether anyone got their hands on a Julie bespoke celebrity vajazzle – named ‘starlet’ – while she was there! The only way to work retro glamour this year.
