Xiu Xiu

Xiu Xiu had a strong set of experimental fusion which included electronic, rock and thrash. At times they could be compared to people such as Pet Shop Boys and Gary Newman due to the journey they took the on audience as well as the ambiance created.

What let them down sadly was too many gaps between songs, lack of banter with the audience as well as the lead singer gargling each time before the next track. Even when an instrumental mishap occurred, they tried to banter, but didn’t take it further.

Despite this, Xiu Xiu with a bit of polishing could go places.
