The Blues Band

In terms of the British Blues musical scene, The Blues Band are a bit of a supergroup. Given the respective five players’ depth of careers, their combined experience is over 200 years. And, as well as sucessful individual solo careers, they have played in or with a relative Who’s Who of Blues artists (Muddy Waters, Manfred Mann, Mcguinness Flint, Howlin’ Wolf plus many more). As you would imagine, the Blues classics were covered but with a nice and warranted smattering of new material. And Paul Jones (the Peter Pan of the Blues scene) can still belt out a tune coupled with some terrific harmonica playing. Top stuff all round.
