Piglet’s Pantry Pies go down a storm at The Amex
Piglet’s Pantry pies at The Amex are gaining recognition
in The H & C News Football Pie League
A visit to The Amex Stadium isn’t complete without a ‘pie and a pint’. Piglet’s Pantry pies for The Amex are so popular they are now being sold in Western Road’s Co-op store, complete with smart blue packaging and the official BHAFC badge. The pies were even getting rave reviews before The Amex officially opened. And now, as The Albion compete for a play-off position, the pies storm high in the Best Stadium Pie chart.
If you were at The Amex, waiting at one of the (many) food stands before the fantastic match against Derby, you may have seen the flyers on how to vote for Piglet’s Pantry as the Best Stadium Pie.
We rate them highly here at Latest Towers and many a football fan feels the same. If you’ve not been to a match at The Amex, or along to the Co-op yet, find out what all the fuss is about now!
From succulent steak and ale to a tasty Mediterranean vegetable option (a favourite even with non-vegetarians) – these really must be the best stadium pies around – they beat many supermarket options too.
The H and C News Football Pie League has launched, with a massive Facebook campaign looking for the best pies. BHAFC featured on their web page last week as H and C News visited The Amex to sample the pies for the Derby game.
“The amount of marketing support behind Brighton’s title challenge is impressive!” noted H & C News. Fans lent their support for the match – and the pies – on Facebook saying: “Brighton are playing like their pies! Both are making late surges to the top of their leagues! Balti is the best!”
H & C News Football Pie News said they will be back for more pies very soon, to which one Albion fan posted: “Glad you enjoyed your trip for the best pies in the country, come again – you seemed to be lucky mascots for us… Now if only we can climb the pie league in the same way as we did the Championship League last night!”
The debate rages on in The H & C Football Pie League. Join in on Facebook now by liking the page.
At the time of writing, Brighton were fourth in the Pie League, above Manchester United, Man City and Chelsea! Arsenal currently top the league, but like the Championship League top six, anything can and will happen.
