Joseph And His Amazing Technicoloured Dreamcoat

The shoes of Joseph are big ones to fill and, whilst its current incumbent Keith Jack can certainly sing (Any Dream Will Do Finalist after all), for me his frame/demeanor was too boyish to command or dominate the acting space. Whilst this is fine when Joseph is a young man, he lacks gravitas when he returns to his family some 15 years later. It’s a solid cast though and the story is told well, doing justice to the genius or Rice/Lloyd-Webber. And why have one finale when seemingly 5 or 6 will do!! Kids will love it, just lacked something for me.
