Friday Krater Comedy Club

Opened by Marcel Ducont, Krater got off to a great start. The Frenchman’s inimitable stage presence and self-assured swagger had the audience eating out of the palm of his hand. Gary Delaney followed, an opposing character but no less enjoyable to watch. Revelling in his own geeky appearance, Delaney delighted with increasingly seedy one-liners. Cary Marx rounded the evening off in laconic style with his own brand of twisted observational comedy. Compered by the world-class Paul Thorne, whose lightning quick wit proved second to none, the evening barely wavered. A small venue filled with big laughs and a satisfied audience.
