DESmod

Brighton welcomed for the first time the popular Slovak rock band DESmod. They recently won the best Slovak group of the year for the sixth time in a row. They played on a Monday night in our city as part of their British Isles Tour 2012. Even though Brighton’s audience was the smallest one on their tour, the band’s guitarist Richard Synčák told me that people here had more vibe. DESmod played the best of their repertoire, but also promoted a couple of songs from their new album, Iný Rozmer (The Other Dimension). Unfortunately, an ill-timed Monday gig meant that not many people showed up. However, the guys loved Brighton and said that it is “a great city”.
