Murder Mistaken

The show was labelled as ‘a tense psychological thriller’, in truth there was little tension and I got more thrills from my interval ice cream. To be fair to the cast they didn’t have much to go on. The story (younger man marries an older lady for money, twice, only to find neither is willing to give or bequeath him the fortune he wants, murder ensues and the murderer’s mind unravels amid a web of deceit) was fine in itself. However the script was pretty bland, beige even and the characters quite one-dimensional. Not exactly a shining example of the genre.
