Magic Of The Beatles
Due to the plethora of Beatle tribute acts around, it’s nice to see something different in an act whether it be a different take on a track, obscure songs or even covering whole albums. Unfortunately M.O.T.B. were firmly in the recreation tent, although I have to say they did it very well. Replica gear is de rigueur to a tribute act but using original VOX amps was a nice touch. If you can think of a Beatle hit it was covered well and harmonies were spot on (even if the costume changes were a bit old hat). Pleasant but nothing magical.
