This week: Brighton & Hove Food & Drink Festival’s Nick Mosley

“We’re now the biggest food event in the south of England, attracting over 160,000 people, with an economic impact of £4.1m. It’s organised by a voluntary committee – we don’t receive any funding from the council or any other organisation. A lot goes on behind the scenes at the festival organisation throughout the year. This year we’ve set up the Brighton Restaurant Association as a sub-group. There are lots of exciting opportunities we’re developing for the future such as establishing a major weekly local farmers’ market and extending our International Chef Exchange initiative with more foodie destinations in Europe and further afield.”

Nick Mosley, managing director of the Brighton & Hove Food & Drink Festival, is confident this year’s events will be bigger and better than ever. The Festival allows both consumers and commercial buyers to showcase their produce at low prices. It is a fabulous smorgasbord of taste sensations and culinary delights.
