How long have you been with Brighton & Hove Albion? 
“Nearly seven years.”

How did you get involved with the club?
“I was born in a Withdean tree, decided to fly down to the pitch one day and they gave me the job!”

Have you ever missed a match?
“Yeah, a few. Not many though! I caught the old Bird flu once or twice.”

What’s been the highlight of your career so far?
“Getting promoted last year as champions of League 1.”

And the low point?
“I’ve not had any yet.”

Who’s your sporting hero?
“John Parrott! Us birds stick together.”

Which club’s mascot is your biggest rival?
“All the mascots are my friends.”

Who would win in a penalty shoot out – Gully or Sammy?
“Gully, hands down. More experienced.”

Do you get nervous before stepping out onto the pitch?
“No, after nearly seven years it’s a walk in the park.”

If you could live anywhere in Brighton and Hove where would it be?
“Brighton Pier. I like chips!”

Where do you actually live?
“The American Express Community Stadium.”

What’s your favourite holiday destination?
“Canary Islands.”

What songs are currently most played on your iPod?
“Any songs by Cheryl Crow, Pigeon Detectives, The Eagles, The Housemartins and The Doves.”

What was the last book you read?
One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest by Ken Kesey.”

“Steven Sea-gull!”
