Il Divo

This beloved pop/opera crossover quartet had ardent fans in the Brighton Centre audience – as seen in the front rows clutching valentines and gasping with excitement.

From opening song ‘Come What May (Te Amare)’ to ‘Wicked Game (Melancholia)’, Il Divo’s orchestral versions of pop songs translated into Spanish and Italian drew an emotional response from the audience.

As tenor David Miller undid his bow tie there were shrieks of “Take it off! Take it all off!”

The smouldering group love their fans just as much: introducing ‘Somewhere’, Miller declared “Somewhere there is a place for us – in each and every one of your hearts.”
