Gomez
It’s been fifteen years since they distinguished themselves from other nineties indie bands with their gruff blues-drenched tones, but hitting the stage with a squall of guitar frippery, Gomez showed they still had the love for playing live. They fizzed their way through this anniversary hometown gig, mixing up hits like ‘Get Myself Arrested’, ‘Tijuana Lady’ and ‘Here Comes The Breeze’ with more esoteric songs chosen by fans online. The crowd loved every minute of it. They were also appreciative of support band, Diagrams, a lovely seven piece who were whimsical and twee without being too annoying.
