Brighton man arrested over sexual assault in Hove
A man from Brighton has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting an 18-year-old woman in Hove.
The 28-year-old man has been bailed by Sussex Police until a week on Friday (11 May) while officers make further inquiries.
He is suspected of committing the offence at about 7.45pm on Sunday 18 March.
The teenager reported being approached as she walked towards a bus stop in Sackville Road, Hove, by the junction with Livingstone Road.
She told police that a man touched her over her clothing and asked her to go with him. She took refuge in a shop and was said to have been badly shaken but unhurt.
