Carlos Saura’s Flamenco Trilogy
In honour of the recent release of influential Spanish film director Carlos Saura’s Flamenco Trilogy DVD, we have three copies of the boxset to give away thanks to Studio Canal. Saura is known for his use of the art of dance in his films and the most famous of these, the Flamenco Trilogy, is made up of Bodas De Sangre (Blood Wedding), Carmen and El Amor Brujo (A Love Bewitched). Choreographed by Saura and his leading man, world-renowned Flamenco dancer Antonio Gades, the films were international hits, with Carmen winning two prizes at Cannes in 1983 and the BAFTA in 1985 for Best Foreign Film.
