Stand Up Scotland!
Having seen many many English comics in rooms above pubs at the Edinburgh Fringe, it seems only right to support the Scottish comics who make the long trek in the opposite direction. A small audience did not deter any of the of the three acts from North of the Border from being the typically garrulous, opinionated and loud personas which we rightly expected.
When your compere is a cynical wise-cracking Scot going by the name of Vladimir McTavish you must expect a slightly terrifying and bumpy ride but he was funny and warm when not being scary. Headliner Paul Pirie was an insane one-man ball of energy. Off-the-wall, off-the-hook, witty, loud, very physical, very funny and totally original. Exhausting but great fun.
