The Beta Males: The Space Race

The Beta Males exude so much energy it can be exhausting to watch. Even as the audience entered they were Morris dancing and cajoling us to join in. This segued into a series of sketches surrounding Britain’s secret attempt to reach the moon. The plot, though secondary to the mayhem, is rather effective and serves to enhance the humour. However, although not mentioned in the Fringe blurb or reflected by the £8.50 tickets, this is a preview and a couple of the sketches definitely need work. When it’s finished it will certainly earn an extra star, maybe more.
