One Pig

All the best performances start with a demonstration and the ‘shame on you’ growled at us by a lone lady protestor was definitely the second worst greeting I have ever had at a theatre. Oh well, whatever, and on to the sane people inside. That is of course if you consider five men in lab coats, a chef, some straw and an electric boxing ring as sane. Everything is relative I guess. This is powerful stuff from Matthew Herbert and his pig-playing posse. Unusual too. So, powerful, unusual and controversial enough that at least one person made a banner denouncing it as evil. Just what Brighton Festival should be for then.
