Sussex to host Australia in Hove during Ashes tour
Sussex County Cricket Club will host Australia at the County Ground in Hove during the Ashes series next year.
The Aussies will play two warm up matches against Somerset and Worcestershire before the opening two tests of the series.
They will then play Sussex in a three-day tour match from Friday 26 July to Sunday 28 July.
The club said: “It will mean that Australia have visited Hove in three out of their last four Ashes tours.”
Sussex chief executive Dave Brooks said: “Watching Australia at Hove gives spectators the chance to get so much closer than they can at a major test venue and offers a unique experience for them and also for the players as well.”
