Funnyhaha
Funnyhaha is an invaluable evening of comedy, offering the chance for the less experienced comics to rub shoulders and share the bill with some top notch club comics already making an impact on British comedy scene. Julie Jepson hosted proceedings with a confident, cheeky and likeable air. Opening the show Cliff Barnes performed his first ever gig, proving to be an amiable presence on stage. Next up was Luisa Omielan, a furious ball of comedic energy. Then were Michael Mooney pulling us into his leftfield Scot-down-South world, Becky Heaver hiding a few lovely comedic ideas behind her nerves, and the intelligent and droll sarcasm of Sami Stone. Headlining was international comic and local favourite Michael Fabbri, whose cheeky and articulate material constructed a fascinating and amazing world, punctuated to great effect by his oscillating vocal delivery. A delightful evening.
