Film: Abraham Lincoln – Vampire Hunter 3D (TBC)

Director: Timur Bekmambetov

From the director of Night Watch, Day Watch and Wanted, produced by the king of macabre Tim Burton, and written by Seth Grahame-Smith (announced as the writer of the still in development Beetlejuice 2) based on his own novel – this preposterously titled flick promises titillates expectations.

Abraham Lincoln (Benjamin Walker), the 16th president of the United States of America, discovers a plot by vampires to take over his much loved country. What can he do but buckle up and dust those vamps to kingdom come. That’s one heck of a mission, so it seems only right that he square to it and show that he’s one heck of a man. Ridiculous.

Also starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Ramona from Scott Pilgrim vs The World), Dominic Cooper (Mama Mia), Alan Tudyk (Wash from Serenity) and Rufus Sewell (Zen and A Knight’s Tale).

Released Fri 15 June
Showing at Odeon and Cineworld
