Police identify Portslade woman killed on A27
The woman from Portslade who died after being hit by a car on the A27 yesterday (Sunday 1 July) has been identified by police.
She was named as Lynn Price, 42, of Wolseley Road, Portslade.
She died after being run over by an Audi which was being driven by a 39-year-old woman, Sussex Police said.
Miss Price was walking along the road by the Adur flyover at the time of the accident which happened shortly after 12.30am.
She had been the subject of a campaign of homophobic harassment by one of her neighbours, Brighton Magistrates’ Court was told in April.
Grant Penfold, 21, of Southwater Close, Brighton, used to live next door to Miss Price and her partner. He was convicted of harassment after being tried by magistrates.
