Brighton driver jailed for 16 weeks
A driver from Brighton has been jailed for 16 weeks for assaulting police, having cannabis and failing to supply a specimen.
David Adams, 34, a builder from Charlotte Street in Kemp Town, was sent to prison on Friday (13 July) when he appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court.
Sussex Police said that he pulled out from Charlotte Street into the path of a police car on Monday 16 April.
The police then lost sight of him but spotted him moments later as he was walking along a street near by.
As well as being jailed, Adams was disqualified from driving for three years.
