Family fun day on the seafront to raise funds for Rockinghorse
A Brighton charity is holding a Family Fun Day on the seafront to help raise money for sick children. Activities include obstacle courses, school sports day games, a treasure hunt, bouncy castle, tombola, face-painting, arts and crafts stalls and more.
The fun day is being held on Hove Lawns from 10am until 4pm on Saturday 28 July. The event has been organised by Rockinghorse, which is best known for its work with the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital and the Trevor Mann Baby Unit. It raises money for life-saving and cutting-edge medical equipment while ensuring that children are treated in an environment that is better suited to their needs.
Entry is free apart from the school sports day games at £3 per person for which places can be booked and paid for online beforehand. Paul Kwatia, Rockinghorse’s Fundraising Manager, said: “The fun day is going to be a really great day out for families so come along and help raise vital funds for local children who need our help.” To register, call 01273 330044 or visit www.rockinghorse.org.uk/events
