The Bugle Boy

Don’t miss some genuine Glenn Miller sound. Ian Knauer is charming as Miller, and even more dapper. The thrilling atmosphere is authentic, but without any cigarette smoke!

Revel in the muted brass blending perfectly with well-balanced woodwind (saxophones and clarinet) over a steady jazz ground of double-bass and brushes on the drums. This expert band needs only the lightest direction from Greg Arrowsmith at the piano, who also provides atmospheric links and accompaniment for the bio-drama on stage. Enjoy the close-harmony ensemble singers, especially Maddie Cole (soprano & saxophone, a rising star!) Their snappy routines give the story some life.
