9 to 5: The Musical, at Theatre Royal Brighton this December? What a way to make a living!

Here at Latest 7 we are all very excited by the recently released cast list for the much anticipated 9 To 5: The Musical production later this year. This hilarious new musical comedy by Patricia Resnick, with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton, will be appearing at the Theatre Royal Brighton in December. Feisty and fun, this musical centres around three office workers who decide to get their own back on their hated boss by taking control of the company in their own outrageous way!

But what we are all talking about is the newly confirmed host of notable names on the cast list! The show will star Natalie Casey as Judy Bernly, Jackie Clune as Violet Newstead, Ben Richards as Franklin Hart and more! Natalie is probably best known for playing her character, Donna, across nine series of Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps, however her theatre credits include Oklahoma! and Legally Blonde performed at the West End. Jackie Clune can be credited for her leading role in Billy Elliot as Mrs Wilkinson and for playing Donna in the international tour of Mamma Mia! As well as this, Ben Richards recently starred in Priscilla Queen Of The Desert as Tick.

With an estimated 100,000,000 album sales, Dolly Parton is one of the greatest selling music artists of all time and the show features her original hit ‘9 To 5’ that won her four Grammy Award nominations. Dolly Parton says,
