Tesco Wine Fair: A Fun Day Out for Wine Lovers

If post-sporting blues are threatening to dampen your spirits this autumn, put a swing back in your step with a trip to the country’s biggest wine festival, the Tesco Wine Fair.

If you and your friends have always wanted to know more about your favourite wines then the Tesco Wine Fair is for you. This is a really fun day out for anyone and everyone who enjoys drinking wine, whether you’re a complete novice or you consider yourself a bit of a wine buff. For just £12 per person, you can taste and explore over 250 still and sparkling wines from all over the world, which will then be available at a special price to purchase. Perfect if you are stocking up for Christmas, planning a big party or even organising a wedding!

What’s more you can meet the people who are actually responsible for producing the wines that you drink and ask them all those burning questions you’ve always wanted an answer to. You can also take part in a free workshop or ‘wine walk’ led by experts including TV personality, Joe Wadsack. These will help you get to grips with all the basics including how to taste a wine and how to match wine with food.

What others say about the Tesco Wine Fairs:

“Our friends had told us about the Tesco Wine Fairs, but I’m not very knowledgeable so was a little nervous about what to expect. I was so pleasantly surprised – all the people behind the stands were so helpful and friendly – I learned loads.”

“I really only like white wines so was keen to try some new styles. I had never tried Sauvignon Blanc from Chile before so attended a workshop specialising in the country and loved the wines so much I ended up buying two cases!”
