Camper van engulfed by fire on edge of Brighton
Investigators are trying to establish how a camper van became engulfed by a fire in the early hours of this morning (Monday 30 July).
Firefighters from Preston Circus fire station in Brighton were called to put out the flames at Waterhall, close to the Brighton bypass, just before 1am today.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: “One crew attended the incident at 12.55am and wore breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze which had engulfed the vehicle.
“A fire investigation will get under way to find out how the fire started.”
