Matt Whistler is forward in going backwards

I came across a posting in the secret forum site, yippee! It’s International Walking Backwards Day this coming Saturday. I’m really looking forward to it – I’ve even stuck rear view mirrors to my feet. It’s a great way to overcome your sense of fear. According to the official manual, the best thing to do is wear a hat with a car cleaning sponge stuck to the back of it to prevent thud injuries on lamp-posts and static people.

The Brighton day starts off on the Level at 2pm and the rules are simple, walk backwards for as long or as little as you like. There are thousands of people gathering in Trafalgar Square in London and Times Square in Manhattan, and this has really taken off in Sweden. There are no speeding limitations and awards are given for the longest distance travelled between the launch time and the turn of the clock at midnight.
The organiser believes if enough people walk backwards simultaneously we can reverse time by five minutes giving us enough time to catch the train you’ve just missed. The journey is verified by your film submission on a mobile phone.

Past cheats have been siphoned out, they submitted a walking film reversed in editing. Awards are also for the funniest backwards walk. walkingbackwards.com is going to be officially released the following Monday and you can upload your mobile film footage onto it and the judging panel will assess your backwards mentality and invite the overall winner to a huge ceremony in L.A.

I have been practising and unfortunately, I’m currently stranded in a pot hole. If you stand still in this business you will just go backwards. Latest TV will be there filming on the day.
Good luck, see you there.
