Matt Whistler paints a picture

Question: what do triangular wooden houses, stone skimming competitions and temporary curtains made from dishevelled fairy lights all have in common?

Answer: absolutely nothing except for a typical week in my pool of chaos that every now and then needs levelling out with fruit and nut loaf with crushed banana and a smattering of syrup. The robots have been creeping back into my life; I’ve just polished off a 100 x 100 robot on canvas with nail varnish.

In order to complete such an undertaking, I needed no distractions from domesticated life so I set my new Street wombled Robo Mop onto 1hr 3O minutes to clean the kitchen floor, while painting in such a way that the fumes from the varnish didn’t levitate me into a disturbing stratosphere.

The Olympsquids is well underway, I can’t believe cheese Samurai with grass blades didn’t take off. The Murray Media Big Screen on Brighton seafront is a crackin’ idea, maybe I will accidentally on purpose swap the DVD for a little snifter of Whistler palava.
