Frighten Brighton Classic Horror Film Festival 2012

Horror films can take many forms in today’s culture, but nothing compares to where they originated from. I’m talking about the eras as far back as the 1930’s when in many ways it was more terrifying just using suggestion to create real terror.

Frighten Brighton did an amazing job in bringing these classic movies to a modern audience. Highlights included Horror Channel star Emily Booth, ‘Mad Love’ (1935), ‘Cat People’ (1942) and ‘The Plague of the Zombies’ (1966 Hammer Horror). However what would have made it absolutely perfect would have been some live entertainment to compliment the quizzes as well as possibly having some popcorn ladies to really make the atmosphere more heightened.
