Matt Whistler prepares his hovercraft
Door lock sales have rocketed and window shutters are flying out; the pandemic fear of robotmania is monopolising Brighton.
Planet Earth is in jeopardy and as part of the Brighton Digital Art Festival, I am having an art attack and redirecting the hysterical public into The Brighton Media Centre’s Friese-Green Gallery for cover. You will be handed a complimentary drink and robot-related nibbles and then shown a series of 2D robots in punky-funky, lounge DJ ambulance – I mean ambiance.
Word is on the street that there are still some spaces left on the guest list to attend Autonomaphobia – my 2D robot art on 28 September at 7pm. Pavement walkers watch out, I will be arriving in my hovercraft.
I will be selling my art to raise funds for my next big comedy viral and anyone purchasing and adopting a 2D robot will also get a signed DVD of cherry-picked internet virals on a show called Matt Whistler’s Trip Out.
What else? Oh yes! I’ve been to see Bryan Jay at the Brighton Media Centre and he threatened me with a camera which resulted in me being swamped in keyboards so retro they didn’t even have the ‘@’ key.
I have just designed a 2D robot with some ducting and the inside of a musical box. To join the party on 28 September email landingpadinfo@gmail.com and if you need a lift home the hovercraft will fit one extra…
I LOVE MATT WHISTLER!
