Playgroup Festival

This delightful boutique festival from the Blind Tiger Club team was themed around “lost toys,” giving Brightonians the chance to flaunt animal romper suits, cardboard robot outfits and outlandish headgear. The atmosphere was relaxed, family-friendly, and hedonistic yet creative, with a powder-paint fight, glittery mermaid makeovers, creative food science and a pirate ship to play on. Cabaret followed a taxidermy demonstration, while the music stages, which offered space to chill out as well as dancefloors, presented local groups ranging from beatboxer Reeps One to heartfelt folk duo Sweet Sweet Lies, James Riley’s country sound, and the celebratory Carnival Collective.
