Comic Boom

Now widely regarded as the ‘Best New Comedy Night’ in Britain, Comic Boom once again had the audience gripping their faces with laughter thanks to the delectable comedy delicatessen on display. Rachel Paris’s gleefully dark and maladjusted piano parodies left the audience in a state of hysteric disrepair, whilst David Jordan continued the somewhat-revival in musical comedy with his valiant attempt to redress the gender inequality in bodily shaving. Headliner David Trent, using videos and graphics, proved to be the biggest hit. His farcical and impressively original set, nominated for best newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe, proved why he is one of the must-see comedians on the circuit – an outstanding, bed-wetting night of comedy!
