Snap Shots: Actor Ralph Brown

“It’s autumn which is possibly my favourite time of the year. It reminds me of starting school, new beginnings, making plans. I’m looking forward to seeing some live music in town, and some great football at The Amex. I’ll be getting down to writing my next film and cycling across the Downs when the sun comes out.”

Who wouldn’t want to change places with the easy-going, local actor, Ralph Brown? Best known for his roles as drug dealer Danny in the cult classic Withnail & I; roadie Del Preston in Wayne’s World 2, and DJ Bob Silver in The Boat That Rocked, Ralph’s list of credits goes on and on. His latest role is Neville in the movie Tower Block, a British thriller shot in the East End of London. He can also be seen in a starring role in Dark Tide, a shark film made in South Africa with Halle Berry which is released on DVD mid-October. Ralph is also a member of the award-winning tribute band, Brighton Beach Boys. The band can be seen performing at The White Horse, Rottingdean, on 13 October.
