Tenacious D
Mock-rock duo Jack Black and Kyle Gass certainly know how to entertain with their stage presence, perfectly timed gags, high-pitched vocals and hardcore guitar playing. It’s clear to see why they are the original music-comedy pair before the likes of Flight of The Conchords. Dressed in white monk robes with flashing lights and stood on a phallic-themed stage, you wouldn’t expect less from the incredibly energetic pair, who left themselves breathless from running around. After playing songs off their new album ‘Rize of the Fenix’ and classic hits ‘Wonder Boy’ and ‘Tribute’ Jack described the gig as having “made sex with your ears, and giving you an eargasm”, which was definitely true. When the huge phallic inflatable shot confetti at the end it was clear from, their cheering, the crowd was in agreement.
