Brighton & Hove gets into the spooky holiday spirit with scary events across the city

There’s plenty of frightful events throughout October that will certainly get your heart pulsating in the lead up to Halloween. Following last weekend’s Zombie Walk, fellow lost souls may want to hold onto their creative costumes for a little bit longer and enjoy other spine-tingling events across Sussex.

For starters Tulleys Farm is holding daily Spooktacular Fun Days packed with surprises, milder thrills and bags of excitement as the park boasts six family Halloween attractions alongside plenty more activities. Enter the Creepy Cottage, climb aboard the Horrid Hayride or solve the Circus Maze. Younger children will enjoy the Boo Barn and Spooky Trail too.

The Brighton Halloween Ghost Walk goes where other ghost walks fear to tread and is an alternative and fun way to learn about the city’s history. There will be two extra walks at an earlier start time for younger children, with plenty of gruesome goodies for little Halloweeners to gobble en route.
Start at Brighton Town Hall, Sat 27 and Wed 31 October, 6.30pm, 7.30pm & 9pm on Wednesday, £8 Adult, £4 children, 01273 302100, www.ghostwalkbrighton.co.uk

For adults, The Ancient Mariner Pub will be holding its very own Halloween Party with fiendishly fun frolics at the Marine’s Monsters’ Ball. All ghosts and ghouls, witches and wizards, zombies, vampires and werewolves are invited to come dance, sing and haunt the night away. A live band play spooky covers and classic songs in their own unique style, and there will be special drinks such as Wicked Witches Punch, and Monkey Brain shots, and Halloween games with a grown-up twist.
