Frankie Cocozza finally releases an album, Alex Reid’s antics revealed & Public Enemy in town

The countdown to Frankie Cocozza’s debut album is on. With the EP set to be released on 5 November, anticipation has been building for what could be the make or break record of Frankie’s particularly tumultuous career. After being chucked off The X Factor, then redeeming himself somewhat in Celebrity Big Brother, Frankie lost a close friend and suddenly decided to clean up his act. In memory of his best friend, the late Connor Saunders, Frankie has vowed to concentrate on his music, with The Motorcycle making waves this week. A teaser for the slightly oddly named single has been tantalising the internet, gaining mixed reactions.

Some fans can’t get enough of Frankie, exclaiming: “Been waiting a year for this, and words can’t describe how excited I am.” Yet others seemed less enthused; a recent ‘Ask Frankie’ twitter session descended into farce last week as users sent the floppy haired Woodingdean lad more than a fair share of abuse. Still we’re undecided about the new single in the office so far; it kind of follows in the same vein as other indie male crooners around at the moment, but perhaps suits a slightly younger audience. Time will tell – good luck Frankie.

Alex Reid Exposed
So apparently our girl Katie Price may have been the wronged woman all along, as some surprising news about her ex-husband surfaced last week. After weeks of moping about with their new daughter Lily, a rather neglected looking Chantelle Houghton – Alex Reid’s latest love of his life – took to Twitter to out some of his rather unusual antics. Suggesting that Alex’s female alter-ego – the inimitable Roxanne – is a little more than just a passing hobby (or as we thought an innocent publicity stunt) Chantelle explained that ‘another man’ had eventually ended their somewhat rocky relationship. A shame-faced Alex responded by pleading for somebody to put an end to the abuse (presumably he believes in some kind of superhero who punishes Twitterati baddies) and then protect his oh-so-in-demand tweets. The saga continues.

Spotted
Hip-hop legends Public Enemy hanging out at My Hotel. In Brighton for one of only three UK tour dates, Chuck D, Flava Flav and the rest of the gang chilled out at the hotel before bringing it on stage at the Dome. The gig went down a storm, with the bad boys of political rap proving why they’ve managed to dominate the music industry for so long. They also said Brighton was their best audience yet, but they probably say that everywhere, right?
