For their first show in Shoreham, the trio were dressed to the nines, with the boys sharp suited and Elana resplendent in a boutique-fresh frock. The performance, across two sets, was equally smart with a mixture of Tin Pan Alley standards alongside Western Swing classics. With Jake slapping bass and calling out encouragement, the combination of Elana’s fiddle and Whit’s guitar was an incredible treat for eyes and ears, with all three’s hands a blur on uptempo numbers including a breathtaking ‘Orange Blossom Special’, their unofficial signature tune. A joyous evening in the company of a band at their peak.
