This week: Artist Nick Osborn

“In my watercolours I like to use vibrant colours and gentle humour. I show my work annually at The Mall Galleries in London. This is the 9th running year of our Christmas Open House and we are displaying mainly my watercolours and the Cicada Jewellery as well as signed limited edition prints. As it is important to offer our visitors a good variety of gifts, we have a fine selection of work by other artists too, in glass, ceramics and textiles.”

Nick Osborn, preparing for his Christmas Open House, well known as the co-founder of Cicada Jewellery in 1973 in Brighton- a range of resin earrings, brooches and necklaces- gaining worldwide reputation for the originality of his designs. Nick has also been established as a watercolour artist for 40 years and is a member of The Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours . He has relaunched the Cicada Jewellery which will be on display at his Christmas Open House at 73 Stanmer Villas, Brighton, on December 1st and 2nd, 8th and 9th, 15th and 16th.

I purchased a Marcel Schurman greeting card many years ago because I loved the watercolor of bright pink tulips in a cobalt blue vase. On the back it says “From an original watercolour by Nick Osborn.” I would love to find this print and also see other paintings by him. Can you please tell me where I can go online or locally? I live near Seattle, Washington, USA. Thank you!
