Alabama 3

The scene was set for Alabama 3. A cold dark night tumbleweeded across the roads leading to the bright light city. Crazy amazing beats, drum and bass fusion from support DJs pumped up a quite eclectic crowd. The Art Of Theft tour had hit town. Born out of Brixton in 1995, Alabama 3 now wouldn’t look out of place in LA or on a film set in Hollywood. Crazy acid driving bass beats blistered your ears whilst country gospel blues Louisiana style raised the devil in your soul. This band would spit acid in the face of The X Factor with tunes like ‘Woke Up This Morning’, ‘You Don’t Dance To Techno’ and ‘We Stole The Moon’. With crowd banter in essence, the band did only seem to have one speed. The party was still continuing and the majority of the eclectic crowd seemed to be loyal. The hoochi coochi dance outfit from Brixton played up a storm on a nasty night by the sea. Newish album ‘Shoplifting 4 Jesus’ out now.
