Soup-urb wins ‘Best New Business’ award

Soup-urb, the delicious and nutritious café brand with outlets in both Brighton and Tunbridge Wells, has been awarded the title of ‘Best New Business’ in the Kent and Sussex Business Excellence Awards.

The awards, organised by Courier Media Group, recognise outstanding performance across a number of categories, including customer service, innovation and community involvement.

The winners were announced at a glamorous ceremony in Tonbridge, Kent, and for Soup-urb’s co-owners – Claire Wood and Yolanda Noble – the evening delivered total joy.

“We are absolutely thrilled to win. To be recognised as excellent – amidst such stiff competition in Brighton and Tunbridge Wells – makes us very proud,” says Claire. “All of our staff work so hard to make Soup-urb a success and this title is a reward for that commitment and dedication.”

“We’re delighted with the award,” adds Yolanda.”Every new business owner knows the challenges involved in establishing the brand and gaining a reputation for quality. The feedback from our customers has been wonderful and now we have an official stamp of approval as well!”

Soup-urb opened in Trafalgar St, Brighton in August and the café is quickly establishing itself as a firm favourite with Brighton’s discerning residents and visitors to the city.
