Brighton woman, 50, arrested after two men are stabbed
A woman from Brighton was arrested on suspicion of stabbing two men in a flat in the town in the early hours of this morning (Monday 10 December).
Sussex Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service were called to the flat in Lavender Street shortly after 1.20am where they found the two injured men.
They were taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton for treatment and later discharged.
Their injuries were described as not life-threatening.
Detective Sergeant Duncan Elliott said: “This was a serious assault and obviously very alarming for the two victims.
“All three of those involved are known to each other and this incident was contained within the flat.”
A 50-year-old woman from Brighton remained in custody this evening.
