Wedded bliss for 12 Brighton couples on 12/12/12

Twelve couples celebrated weddings in the city on 12/12/12.

This included a civil partnership conducted at the Royal Pavilion by Senior Ceremonies Registrar Trevor Love. Trevor declared the two Brighton men as legal civil partners at 12:12 pm.

At Brighton Town Hall, Mr and Mrs Jenner became husband and wife in a wedding chosen for the date. James Jenner explained: “I wanted a date to remember, no excuses for forgetting the anniversary!”

Mrs Yasmin Jenner added: ”I’ve been waiting nine years for this day and the 12.12.12 date is special because there’s not going to be a similar one for almost a century.”

All ceremonies were conducted by Brighton & Hove City Council Registrars.
