Maydays – XXXmas edition

An evening of ‘confessions’ puts the audience’s fodder and shambling stories forward as comedic offerings. The group used our contributions to great effect, crafting sketches out of each with a comfortable gag quota. The production was less than slick tho, which was a shame, more attention could have been given to letting the audience ‘in’ on the format from the start. A few lost and confused faces where they needn’t have been. They work with a keyboardist who sensitively framed some of the scenes but knew when to let it lie, an accomplished accompanist.
