Brighton and Hove police offer reward in hunt for wanted ex-prisoner

A reward of £500 is being offered as police hunt for a Brighton man who is wanted for recall to prison.

Daniel Sallis, 27, from Woodingdean, is wanted for failing to comply with the conditions of his prison release licence.

He has a long list of previous convictions and has been jailed a number of times.

Sallis was part of a gang responsible for the ram raid safe robbery at Portslade Sports Centre in July 2006.

Sussex Police said that Sallis was 5ft 10in tall and of stocky build. He was described as having short brown hair, a local southern accent and blind in his left eye.

He was was released from prison in October.

PC Mark Gorringe, from the Brighton Intelligence Unit, said: “Sallis has links to the Woodingdean, Hove and Southwick areas.

“We are offering a £500 reward for information that leads to his arrest.”
