On The Sofa with Emma Kennedy

We came to tonight’s loose chat show as admirers of comic actor/writer Emma Kennedy’s BBC work, notably her long-running collaborations with Stewart Lee and Richard Herring. Others knew her as last year’s Celebrity Masterchef winner, and even more shared her love of Danish crime drama The Killing (the subject of her recent access all areas fan guide The Killing Handbook). With host Jen Brister and most of the audience sensibly wrapped up in chunky Sofie Gråbøl knitwear, a relaxed Kennedy delivered candid personal anecdotes and plenty of Scandinavian small screen gossip. An informal treat for comedy and crime fans alike.
