Jerry Sadowitz
Bounding on as Jimmy Savile, Sadowitz delighted in viciously ripping him apart along with his co-accused celebrities.
A frightening character onstage, he spewed out such racism, sexism and religious intolerance, leaving no minority unscathed, that several people left before his first magic trick. Thankfully his skill and intelligence made even the vilest jokes work. A slight worry was the apparent endorsement of the racist overtones by some crowd members. His sleight of hand work is legendary and the card tricks were executed perfectly but unfortunately only played a small part of the show. A great performance from the on-form iconoclast.
