Man suffers broken jaw after being attacked outside Brighton hotel

A 24-year-old man suffered a broken jaw when he was attacked outside a hotel on Brighton seafront in the early hours of Sunday morning (17 February).

The victim, who comes from Peacehaven, was treated at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

He was out with friends when the attack took place outside the Umi hotel in King’s Road, Brighton, between 1am and 1.20am.

The suspect was described as a white man, in his early twenties, about 5ft 7in tall, of medium build and with a brown beard. It is believed that he was with a woman.
