Hove handyman faces another charge of abusing Brighton care home resident

Care home handyman Paul Brown will face more charges when he appears in court Brighton tomorrow (Friday 1 March).

Brown, 55, of Clarendon Road, Hove, has been charged with another count of engaging in sexual activity with a woman care home resident who has a mental disorder.

He has also been charged with three more counts of sexually assaulting staff by touching them.

The offences are said to have happened in Brighton between dates in 2005 and 2010.

Brown, who was arrested by Sussex Police officers in December, was already facing eight other charges. They relate to sex offences alleged to have involved an elderly female resident at the home and women working there.

He is due to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court tomorrow to answer all 12 charges.
